In Algeria, IOM provides assistance to children and unaccompanied minors on a case to case basis. Assistance ranges within the different fields of IOM’s migration-related activities: reception and integration in the country of destination; assisted voluntary return and reintegration in the country of origin or a third country; as well as family tracing and reunification.

The Algerian Network for the Defense of Children (NADA Network) works to promote the rights of the child, by supporting protection and advocacy actions aimed at ensuring that it flourishes within the framework of the international convention on the rights of the child.
