In Algeria, various non-governmental organizations are helping persons with specific needs through orientation to medical clinics, providing some medicines, improving mental health, awareness campaigns fighting discrimination against disability...etc. Handicap International in Algeria works to promote the social inclusion of the most vulnerable people and to improve their living conditions by advancing their rights and ensuring their needs are considered. Assistance is provided on a case to case basis in line with the organisation’s modus operandi.
