Following the Presidential decree of 9 September 2015, an Inter-Ministerial Committee was set up to elaborate strategies and programs related to the prevention and fight against human trafficking in Algeria. It is composed of the following ministries: National Defense, Interior, Justice, Religious Affairs and Wakfs, National Solidarity, Post Telecommunications Technology and Digital, Labor Employment and Social Security; as well as National Consultative Commission for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights.
